Downtown, city living with a twist!

No topics.

Just because you live downtown, doesn’t mean that you can’t get the experience of spending your summers outdoors and enjoying some of the city’s most gorgeous riverside parks. Whether you’re going for a run, walking your dog or hopping on your bike, the West River Parkway trail has plenty of views and stops that you’ll love.

Some of our favorite nearby parks and stops are less than a mile away from Sora!

Gold Medal Park and the Mill Ruins Park have some of the best summer attractions in the city. If you want to stop at the Park and enjoy an afternoon there, check out the Mill City Museum, where you can learn about the history of the area, enjoy exhibits with your family or just marvel at the architecture of the building. Head over to the Mill City Farmers Market where you can grab some fresh produce, enjoy a chef led cooking class or relax with some market yoga. Or make a stop at the Stone Arch Bridge - you can see a great panoramic view of the St. Anthony Falls and the surrounding Mill District! If you’re just passing by, be sure to stop at Izzy’s ice cream, you won’t want to miss out!

Leave the car at home and discover a whole new way to experience downtown!
